Friday, Nov. 21
7:00 pm Museum of the Big Bend historian Matt Walter presents his popular illustrated program entitled Flags of Our Founding Fathers.
Intermission
8:00 pm Photographer, writer, and caver Blair Pittman, of Terlingua, reads sample stories from his upcoming book Tales from the Terlingua Porch II.

9:00 pm Photographer James H. Evans, of Marathon, presents People & Landscapes of the Big Bend, a stunning audiovisual show drawing from 20 years of documenting and interpreting the Big Bend Region.
Saturday, Nov. 22
7:30 pm Archeologist and artist Reeda Peel provides an overview of Rock Art of the Trans-Pecos, focusing on a special site in Terrell County.
Intermission
8:45 pm Author Juan Manuel Casas lectures on the history of his great-grandfather’s family in the Big Bend. Afterward, he autographs copies of Federico Villalba’s Texas: A Mexican Pioneer in the Big Bend, which has created such a sensation since its debut in June.
Throughout the weekend Paintings by Alpine artist Carol Fairlie adorn the walls in the Reading Room, 201 East Holland, where all lectures will take place. Complimentary refreshments.
