November 14, 2008 - Author of Tecate Journals Returns, 7:00 p.m.
In an unusual repeat of an earlier engagement, Front Street Books will host writing professor and journalist Keith Bowden at 7 p.m in the Reading Room, 201 East Holland, in Alpine.
Bowden will autograph copies of his popular Tecate Journals: Seventy Days on the Rio Grande, a travelogue of cycling, canoeing and rafting down the Rio Grande. He will also discuss issues that concern all of us living on both sides of the historic river.
The author lives in Laredo and teaches writing at Laredo Community College. For a time he took graduate courses at Sul Ross State University. He last appeared at Front Street Books in October 2007.
